Japan day 5

Day 5... time goes fast and slow at the same time, but it was time to move on....bye bye Tokyo and hello farmland O_o

This time we went to a small town deep in the mountains, where there was no Internet and no way to call outside of Japan, for some reason I did not quite understand. We stayed in a Shinjuku wich is like the Ryokan a traditional Japanese home/hotel of sorts. The innkeeper was really tiny exactly as I pictured her to be. The place was really beautiful, not to fancy but enough to make one feel at home Japanese style.

At dinner we ate lots of tradition local stuff for example sweetened grasshopper, I know how disgusting it sounds but it was quite tasty. The best part of it was there was a old Japanese couple, and with my Dutch to Japanese book and awesome knowledge I gained from wasted years of watching anime, we had some sort of conversation that led to drinking lots of sake and beer on the house \o/

Well enjoy the pictures of this beautiful village and scenery.
