Photoalbum test

I made these photos in Rotterdam with my HD Camcorder, I'm testing different photo-albums for my blog. This one is from Picasaweb and seems to work fine with Blogger. It was part of Google so no registration was needed! I hate the fact that you have to register for every little thing on the internet, this can become quite tiring over time :(

HD Pocket Camcorder

For my trip to Japan I bought a Zi8 HD Pocket Camcorder from Kodak, it costs about 150 euro but you will need to purchase a SD memory card. Since HD video takes up a lot of space (1 minute of 720p footage at 60 FPS takes up about 75 MB). you will need something around 16 gb or more. The video below is a test to see if it works well with Bloggers functionality, if not then for future reference I will use Youtube.



Well... I checked the result and I can't say that this small video really shows that it's HD. So I guess ill have to use Youtube.

Japan

For a very long time I wanted to go on vacation to Japan, finally I have the time and money to make this dream come true. On 29-4 I will go to Japan on a organized trip for 24 days. You can find information about my trip here.

I will stay in hotels and ryokan (traditional Japanese accommodation), for most of my trip. I will use this website to post video's and photos of the great things I experience on my trip. I can't guarantee it will update daily because as I said it is organized but I think most hotels have internet access and a computer :)
